TEXAF Digital

Texaf Hub

TEXAF is building the first digital campus in Kinshasa, which is set to open late 2019 and will include an incubator and training center. It is housed in a magnificent 700m² modernist building, fully renovated to accommodate co-working, seminar rooms and shared spaces.

Investment

TEXAF is backing Congolese youth, which is pushing for modernity, and has decided to invest in African businesses that are innovating in the digital technologies. The first million euros has been invested in the new PARTECH AFRICA venture capital fund (https://partechpartners.com/).) This has stakes in Trade Depot, www.tradedepot.co (Nigeria), an SaaS platform for the distribution of mass consumption products, and the fintech companies Kudi, www.kudi.co (Nigeria), and Yoco, www.yoco.co.za (South Africa).

Through this investment, the group expects to quickly gain a better understanding of the sector, enabling it to invest in companies and create a new growth hub.
